How did I miss this?

Evidently they put in one of the new structural beams for the Freedom Tower yesterday.

I walk by ground zero on Vessey St every day on my way to work... how did I not notice a giant 30 foot white steel beam with an American Flag and signatures on it?!? I can see it from the conference room across from my office for christ's sake.

Oh wait, I remember how. I was listening to the Gorillaz - Demon Days and playing around on my Blackberry. Those things really are like crack. Must beat Brick Breaker...

That 8th grade sex ed can suck it. Literally. According to this study, 95% of Americans have premarital sex. Seems like that whole abstinence thing is really working out for you there super-christian people...

Here's an idea that just crossed my mind: condoms.

Not that expensive, just hand them out and say "go get 'em kids." Surely 1000 condoms is cheaper than hiring someone to come in for 6 weeks and preach abstinence. In fact, there are a ton of organizations just dying to give away condoms for safe sex programs. Free condoms for everyone!!

Because let's face it: teenagers are going to have premarital sex at some point anyway... might as well get 'em when they're young young young young!!

So lets all do our civic duty to help these poor misguided teenage girls (or boys depending) become properly educated on safe sex by lending our support, expertise, and hands on experience.
